I had read some good recommendations for a very small café called Le Petit Plateau. It is on Notre Dame’s island right before the Pont St Louis over to “my” island.
While you might get some greens while eating in a bistro, eating out means having some meat to the French. What makes Le Petit Plateau different is that it specializes in salads.
What you see in the picture is their Mediterranean salad. Mostly lettuce, but cucumbers, tomatoes, some hard-boiled egg, red bell pepper, olives, tuna, anchovies. It was very good and a nice change of pace.
