About This Site

I decided during my last couple of years at work that I wanted to retire and live in downtown Paris. Anything over three months requires a special visa, so I started with a three month stay in a rented apartment on Île Saint-Louis in the spring of 2017. I got an unexpected job offer in early June, 2018, to work for a French startup, SAS Fermat, based in Paris. So, I unretired and am living in downtown Paris for up to three years.
